The Itaipava Arena Fonte Nova is located in Salvador, Bahia and was built in place of the older Estádio Fonte Nova.
Officially known as Complexo Esportivo Cultural Professor Octávio Mangabeira, the stadium has light roof covered with membrane, stands divided into three tiers allowing fans to enjoy the beautiful lagoon view that could become concert stage on non-sporting occasions. The complex around Arena Fonte Nova includes a panoramic restaurant, museum of football, car parks, shops, and hotels. The new arena will host four group matches, round of 16, and quarter final during FIFA World Cup 2014.
