The stadium, that belongs to one of the three famous clubs of this place Sport Club Corinthians Paulista, is located in one of the most important business and financial areas of Brazil, Sao Paulo. To qualify for the opening match Fifa requires a minimum capacity of 65,000 about 20,000 temporary seats will be added to the stadium.  After the tournament temporary seats will be removed and it will have original capacity of 48,000 seats. The stadium has been chosen to host the Opening Match of 2014 World Cup Brazil , three other group matches, round of 16, and semi-final.
