Arena Pantanal stadium is located in Cuiaba, the capital of Mato Grosso state in Brazil. This new multi-use stadium will host four group matches. The site’s air and soil quality, the lush green surroundings have given the stadium its nickname “The Big Green” or “O Verdao.” After the World Cup finals the stadium will be scaled down and used for a variety of different uses including business conventions and events hosted alongside sport. Local clubs Mixto and Operario may take advantage of the new venue.
