Manaus is the capitral of Brazil’s biggest state Amazonas. It is located in the middle of the Amazon rainforest and has been one of the most famous places on the planet because of the confluence of the Negro River’s dark water and the Solimões River’s muddy brown water that come together to form the Amazonas River. Both rivers waters run side by side without mixing about 6 km. The cultural life of the city is full of events, including the Opera, Theater, Jazz and Cinema festivals, world’s largest “Samba” festival, the Boi-Manaus – a celebration of the city’s anniversary through Boi-Bumbá music.
